21+ days with a reapplication after rejection is not unusual. Manual verification was always slower than the automated path, and a prior rejection + reapplication resets your place in the review queue, which adds time.

The review team will email you at the address on your GitHub account when there's an update or if they need anything. Worth checking your spam folder too, GitHub's education emails land there sometimes.

If it hits 30 days with no communication at all, contact GitHub Support directly at support.github.com and mention you're waiting on a manual Education verification. Don't reapply again in the meantime. That would just restart the clock.
