    Agreed: This is an awful abuse of the science of implicit bias. (Certainly the founders of the IAT have long argued against using their method this way).

    California just passed a law requiring officers to be screened based on their implicit biases. That's a bad policy. Implicit bias tests aren't diagnostic enough for screening. I study implicit bias & I can't think of a single scientist who'd endorse this.

    So Southpark's Trey Parker and Matt Stone just released , a new satire project with some of the best quality deepfakes I've seen in a while. Mark Zuckerberg, Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump, Al Gore, and even Michael Caine are also 'deepfaked' in the first episode.

    These look like photos from the set of a sci-fi film but they actually show Washington State Dept of Agriculture workers in protective suits vacuuming hundreds of 2-inch-long invasive Asian giant hornets from the first nest found in the U.S.
