What do I need to know?

Applications are open for university accommodation

If you make The University of Sheffield your firm choice through UCAS, you will be guaranteed a study bedroom in University owned or partnership accommodation.

If you are an undergraduate and wanting to apply, please contact the accommodation office: accommodationoffice@sheffield.ac.uk

Postgraduate applications are still open. Please log into MUSE to apply.

More information regarding accommodation for late course start dates will be available on our website in October 2020.

Please keep yourself informed with everything relating to university accommodation. This applies to current students living in our accommodation or 2020/21 students coming to live with us for the next academic year. Accommodation Services have been and will continue to work alongside UK Government Advice, Public Health England (PHE) and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

Keeping you safe in university accommodation

We are working hard to make sure our students coming to live with us in Autumn 2020 feel safe and informed. This applies for new students, returners and also our staff. We assure you, our student community will be supportive, fun and a place to call home whilst you are with us.

We've put together a short video for you to talk you through some of the safety measures that have been put in place for your arrival this year.

We cannot wait to welcome you into our official university accommodation as it really is the only place to live in Sheffield as a student. We offer the largest student community in the city and have unrivalled support on offer 24/7 with our Residence Life team, Customer Services and Security on hand for you.
