Arsenal's three-point lead atop the Premier League table—73 points from 34 matches versus Manchester City's 70 from 33—fuels the razor-thin trader consensus, with the Gunners' superior goal difference (+38 to +37) providing a slim edge despite City's game in hand. Arsenal's 1-0 grind out over Newcastle on April 25 preserved their advantage, while City's 1-0 midweek win at Burnley extended their unbeaten run to 11 matches, offsetting their 2-1 head-to-head victory over Arsenal earlier in April. Both face injury concerns—Arsenal without Timber, Merino, and Havertz; City missing Rodri, Dias, and Gvardiol—keeping the run-in tense ahead of Arsenal's home clash with Fulham on May 2 and City's trip to Everton on May 4.
