Mercedes' George Russell and Kimi Antonelli lead trader consensus for the 2026 F1 Drivers' Championship at 39.5% and 32.6% implied probabilities, reflecting their tight intra-team battle atop the early standings after three Grands Prix. Antonelli's back-to-back wins in China and Japan propelled him to a nine-point lead over Russell (72-63), who took victory in Australia but faces pressure to strike back at the Miami Grand Prix amid minor errors. Mercedes' superior pace and constructors' dominance—bolstered by rivals' struggles at Ferrari, McLaren, and Red Bull—keep the duo bunched, with upgrades expected in Canada heightening the teammate rivalry's intensity while 18 races remain for shifts via DNFs, strategy, or weather.
